Ron Kuhn
Ron Kuhn
has a B.S. in
Mechanical
Engineering from Purdue University and an extensive background in Lean
Manufacturing development and implementation. While at General Motors he
was an instructor at the Synchronous Knowledge Center providing many GM/UAW
teams with their first exposure to the Toyota Production System. By
designing and utilizing one-hour, hands-on simulations for standardized
work, production flow, balanced operations, etc., he is able to teach
lean concepts to employees in a fun and non-threatening manner. This has
allowed many organizations to make substantial improvements without the
burden of capital expenditures.
Both
Bob and Ron are featured in the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)
videotape series on “Lean Manufacturing.”
